As soon as Apple announced to the world that they had created the iPhone, the cell phone world and the tech industry in general couldn’t stop speculating and asking questions. Fortunately, the iPhone is here and everyone can find out the answers for themselves. Is the iPhone as attractive as it looks like in the ads? Yes. It is relatively easy for anyone to use? Yes. Does the product actually live up all of the hype surrounding it? Well… not really. But that doesn’t mean that it’s not a great phone.
As far as looks go, the iPhone is probably one of best out there. With innovative design, superior video and music options, and an overall sleek interface, the iPhone lives up to the hype surrounding its appearance. Performance however, is a different matter. The iPhone does not have a number of features commonly found on many other phones, but more annoying than this is the fact that it operates on the EDGE network which is generally sluggish and slow. Surprisingly, the phone calls weren’t as crystal clear and of as high quality as we had hoped – especially for a $600 phone.
However these reasons are why the Apple iPhone is a great product when you realize that it’s great for how it does things, but not really what it does. Like doing simple things in a different or unique way, but not actually in a great way.
