The LG Rumor is actually Sprint’s response to customers who have asked for a phone with a QWERTY keyboard included, but that do not want to purchase a full-on smartphone. The LG Rumor is the successor to the previous year’s model, the LG F9200. With an attractively designed handset which makes use of a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that’s hidden underneath, the LG Rumor is a substantial phone that competently performs in the hands of any user.

There are also several more advanced features such as Sprint Navigation support, a music player, and even a megapixel camera. One of the best characteristics about the LG Rumor is how simple and easy it is to navigate the phone’s menus, and then also just using the phone in general is a real treat. Amazingly, you can even log into websites such as Facebook and Myspace in just a few button presses. What the LG Rumor is lacking is an EV-DO interface that enables quicker web browsing and it also has a slightly subpar screen resolution for its price range.

Where the Rumor excels is in its text messaging abilities. For customers who are addicted to txt’ing messages, the LG Rumor would be a great choice. Once you get past the bulky, almost candy-bar-like shape and thickness of the phone, you’ll realize how useful and powerful it can truly be.
